My aunt was a woman who believed she should be treated like an admirals wife at all times even though she wasn’t married to one and she eventually ruined his career because of it. Even so everyone should be treated with respect. And the irony is never lost on me that in situations like these the very men and women they’re insulting are the people who fight to provide them with the freedom to make asses out of themselves every day.

I can’t imagine being a wife at home taking care of the family while my husband is overseas for months on end. I think it would take a very strong person to be home with the family.
