Final Strawberry Sunday

5strawberries

For the last Strawberry Sunday of this year I am going to share my strawberry cantaloupe baby food recipe. Its super easy and a great way for baby to enjoy fresh summer flavors!

All you need is fresh strawberries and a ripe cantaloupe. You wan to start by squishing your strawberries down to the constancy your child is currently eating. If you child is just starting fruits feel free to use your blender. Just be aware it will be very runny and you may want to add rice cereal to thicken it up! If you child can handle more texture to their food, drain the extra liquid from the strawberries. Next  cut up your cantaloupe into small cubes and squish them in a separate container. Then simply mix 2 parts strawberry to 1 part cantaloupe. You can freeze this mixture up to 30 days!

Strawberry Peach Freezer Jam: Fresh picked strawberries and juicy peaches creates this wonderfully summer sweet jam that you can enjoy all year long! It goes great with warm vanilla scones!

Strawberry Lemon Water: This sugar-free alternative to strawberry lemonade is just as yummy and refreshing. It is simple to make and is good for you! Strawberry lemon water is on of my families favorite go to drinks all summer.

Strawberry Pineapple Mango Rum Jello: This boozy fruity is a great adult only summer dessert. I would like to consider this a grown up jello shot. Just because we are no longer in college doesn’t mean we can appreciate a booze filled jello! Why not make this adult dessert for your next picnic or party?

Strawberry Mojitos: My strawberry mojitos are made with my homemade strawberry mint syrup and are a great mix of minty and sweet. To me strawberry mojitos scream spring and pair great with any book!
